Memorial Day Service for Glen Haven

Glen Haven cemetery has asked Troop 613 to come serve as ushers and participate in their ceremony on May 31st.  Please see calendar for details.

Summer Camp Final Payments

Final payments for Summer Camp need to be paid by May 15th to get the $25 discount.  Please have your merit badges selected once you have paid at least $150 of the $300 fees if paid by the 15th and send the list of classes to Mrs. Lester.  Remember some classes have additional fees for supplies, and those will have to be paid at time of registration.  If you want to pay with a credit card, Mrs. Lester(amylester317@gmail.com) can help facilitate that.

May Campout 14-16

The permission form for the campout is found under the calendar event.  Fees for the campout are $6 per Scout.  Parents will drop Scouts off and pick them up - see times and address on the calendar event.

Annual Planning Meeting

The Annual Planning meeting to set the campouts for next year (Aug-July) will take place this Sunday, May 2nd at 6:30 PM at the American Legion.  The address is: 4490 N. Goldenrod Rd., Winter Park, FL 32792.  Please bring a chair and something to drink.  No food will be provided.  Scouts should submit ideas by this Friday for campout themes (fishing, hiking, etc).  Additionally (but separately)please submit camping areas you want to go to (Lake Mills, Fort DeSoto) with a brief description of the activities that can be done there and the distance from the church.  Please also include at least 1 location you want to go to summer camp for summer of 2022.  Mrs. Lester's email is amylester317@gmail.com. Having a phone to connect to the survey to vote on next year's activities is recommended.  Presentations of 1 or 2 campgrounds you would like to visit is helpful, but please limit the presentation to a few minutes.

Food Pantry - Dingoes

The Food Pantry for May 2nd has been changed to 1:00 PM to accommodate the time for the Annual Planning meeting at 6:30 at the American Legion.
