Meet at the American Legion at 9:00 AM

Scouts have an opportunity to earn the Rifle Shooting merit badge this month. 

We will be able to spend a good amount of time shooting at the campout, so it is likely that scouts could qualify there. In addition, to earn the merit badge, there are "classroom" requirements. Scouts who are interested in the merit badge should download the workbook (attached) and get the merit badge book (on-line here). They will be required also to research Florida hunting laws. Scouts should be able to complete all or most of the workbook on their own. If they have questions, they can ask Mr. McHale when he come to teach rifle safety at the Nov. 15 meeting. They should then complete the workbook and bring it to the campout.

Seminole County cancelled our reservation at Mullet Lake because of a bathroom issue, so we are going to Moss Park instead.

Drop off and pick up information is still the same, i.e. American Legion Friday at 6pm.

John Castillo will be hosting an eagle project for his eagle rank, He would appreciate it if you came on Saturday to help him out building garden beds. You can come for any time from 1-4 pm. The address is 1920 Shadyhill terr in winter park.
